Objective of Job
Work as a key contributor in the team of China Data office and support to drive the transformation into a truly data driven company. The roles & responsibility mainly includes:
1.Takes ownership and coordination role for all data, data governance and data quality related topics from China regulators and local laws, across the company, including the as-is process clarification, understanding of internal policies, local data law and regulations to fully ensure that the company data is protected and well mananged in compliance with company and government regulations.
2.Supports to drives, coordinate and ensure completion of all data governance project related tasks, e.g. new requirement deep-dive, definition of work packages, coordination among business units, PMO function, follow-up, and quality ensurance.
3.Ensures data related business and process risks are proactively identified and effectively managed within the company.
4.Facilitates to provide targeted strategy and set overall direction, role definitions, owning and managing company data policy and standards of usage, sharing and flow of data and serves as the governor of local data assets. Centrally manages critical data (regulatory relevant).
5.Ensures data owners and technial owners take necessary measures to ensure data quality consistently along the data life cycle per local regulators requirement.
6.Aids to organize Data Committees to set mandates + R&R, escalates for technology/budget/resource, handling critical issues; Liasion with DGRC/BMBS data team for data governance synergy.
7.Supports DGRC Compliance in solving critical issues (data leakage, etc. ) as well as in prompting data culture, awareness and training.

As the team member of MBM China Data Office, the incumbent will
1.Advocates and supports to develop and drive a high-performing team that is excited about the potential of becoming a data driven company and willing to drive the change within the organization
2.Works proactively to organize regular communication, trainings and knowledge sharing to further strengthen the readiness of the team;
3.Supports to plan and monitor budgets, implement short term and mid-term team roadmaps.

Task Description
- Contributes to drive, coordinate the three pillars – Data Compliance, Data Management, Info Security, as well as Informaiton Owners and ensures completion of all data governance project related tasks, e.g. new requirement deep-dive, definition of work packages, coordination among business units, PMO function, follow-up, and quality ensurance
- Facilitates to drive company data strategy and set overall direction. Takes ownership for all data, data governance and data quality related topics, supports compliance and is the first point of contact.
- Works on providing targeted strategy and setting overall direction, data policy and standards of usage, sharing and flow of data and supports the governor of local data assets. Centrally manages critical data (regulatory relevant).
Works with to Regulator Compliance, Regulator Reporting, IT and BI to define & roll-out related activities.
- Supports to organize and joins relevant data committees, budgets, resources, technology within MBM, DGRC and MBM HQ
- Supports Compliance in improving data governance framework and solving critical issues (data leakage, etc. ) as well as in prompting data culture, awareness and training across the organization.
