Reuters is seeking a resourceful financial news journalist with a track record of breaking news to join the Chinese language service forex team in Beijing. The successful candidate will cover forex markets, including onshore/offshore yuan spot markets, yuan derivatives and the offshore yuan HIBOR market, highlighting key market milestones and market movement trends.

The successful candidate will also report on forex regulation and government policy, interpreting key data such as China’s forex reserve data, and break news on regulatory changes.

The reporter will need to build deep sources across the forex market and develop expert insight into the market, spotting longer-term trends.
