职位描述

Purpose

A key task of the China IT Deployment Associate for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Manufacturing Engineering (ME) is to deploy MES/ME applications for China Joint Ventures (JVs). This role is for the Deployment Associate for the General Motors Information Technology (GMIT) organization. This position’s primary focused on deployment of MES/ME global and standard IT applications to JV plants to support flawless Launch and standalone deployment projects, and performing release upgrades of existing applications following global rollout schedule.

Areas of Responsibility

• Intensive understanding of business processes in Vehicle Assembly Plant, Powertrain Plant and Battery Plant
• Understand IT Global Launch Process, and follow the process in deployment, including:
• conduct requirement analysis workshop
• install and configure system
• support System Acceptance Test and User Acceptance Test
• conduct user training
• prepare project deliverables
• perform transition to operation.
• Work in cross functional teams with extended team members in other parts of Asia and/or North America.
• Manage business and IT expectations according to project scope and schedule
• Address issues in a timely manner, and drive necessary discussions and escalations
• Support Business Facing Team for business requirement background study
• Support Global Application Operation Support (AOS)Team for incident resolving and ongoing support request
• Travel requirements may include local and global travel, up to 50%

• Demonstrated ability in Java/C++ programming

Experience/Education:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information System or related.
