Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

ZX Ventures is currently seeking a Merchandise Manager, to define, develop and execute the China merchandise program for our Anheuser-Busch InBev brands and build a best-in-class merchandise program for world-class brands such as Budweiser, Stella Artois and Corona. Merchandise includes all non-beer things that can enhance our consumer’s experience. Not like free POCM, merchandise is a sustainable business that we earn incremental margin through it.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Collect customer feedback and needs and input in merchandise programs
  • Manage, in partnership with zone key account sales and trade marketing stakeholders on 3 month forecast, shipment tracking and payment confirmation.
  • Customer visit individually/ with Merchandise/Key account team for customer relationship maintenance, On-POC activation management, trade marketing assets coordination and etc,.
  • Monitor program detail and make sure achieve set program milestone
  • Coordinate and tracking repackage in brewery to make sure ship in time.
  • Assist merchandise associate director on filing routine P&L and forecast

Merchandise Growth and Management: Partner with key account customers to establish and grow the merchandise business by penetrating SKUs in more POCs. Track and manage all programs in key account channel.

Increase Brand Worth through Merchandise: Partner with agencies and licensees to design, develop, sell and promote new goods and services in line with our brand goals and objectives.

Pipeline Project Management: Keep track secondary milestones based on established project timeline

Learning Plan & Optimization: Establish best in class practices and benchmarks that will be used to monitor & deliver program performance. KPI: Excellence program adherence.


Accountabilities

Recognition of relevant trends – understanding the trends in licensing, consumer goods, beer culture, apparel & technology to capitalize on new & emerging opportunities within the market.

Creative development - delivery of best-in-class merchandise, products & services for our brands through partnership with agencies

Route To Market – Understand, optimize, and manage the route to market for all licensed goods and services across a variety of possible solutions. Track all products and associated revenue.

Compliance Champion – activation of the brand’s merchandise program in a way that is scalable, sustainable, innovative, breakthrough and compliant. Coordinate with legal and brand teams to ensure all necessary approvals.

Target Revenue – Ownership of global net revenue targets. Drive exponential growth for the program. Identify new revenue opportunities. Set 1YP and 4YP targets.
