Job Description
As our employer is poised to further expand its presence in the U.S. market, we are seeking a seasoned China-US Policy Analysis Specialist on a global scale to provide comprehensive insights and professional support for this strategic initiative. We are looking for a forward-thinking and well-connected professional who can navigate the complex landscape of China-US bilateral policies and U.S. domestic policy dynamics, helping our employer seize opportunities and mitigate risks in the U.S. market. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding our client’s investment and business operations, ensuring compliance with bilateral policies and optimizing their market expansion strategy.
Core Responsibilities

Comprehensively track and research the dynamics of China-US bilateral policies and U.S. domestic policies, with a key focus on areas relevant to the company’s investment, including trade policies, investment policies, industrial policies, and entry-exit policies.


Analyze the background, implementation impact, and changing trends of relevant policies, predict potential investment risks (such as trade barriers and investment restrictions) brought by policy adjustments, and put forward practical response suggestions.


Sort out the differences between China-US policies, provide policy guidance for the company’s investment and business activities in the U.S. market, and ensure that the business layout complies with the requirements of bilateral policies.


Regularly produce China-US policy analysis reports, synchronize policy changes to relevant positions, and assist in optimizing the company’s investment strategy.

Key Requirements

Possess relevant policy research experience, with a deep understanding of China-US bilateral relations and the policy systems of both countries.


Demonstrate strong capabilities in policy interpretation, analysis, and prediction, with a keen sensitivity to international policy dynamics.


Fluent in English, capable of proficiently searching, reviewing, and organizing Chinese and English policy documents.


Preferred candidates include experts, scholars, think tank researchers, investigative journalists who have worked in the U.S. or U.S.-related fields, as well as professionals from government decision-making departments or NGO organizations with in-depth knowledge of this field.

Work Nature & Remuneration
This is a part-time, remote position. You only need to provide corresponding consulting services according to the employer’s business expansion needs, and there is no requirement to be on-site at the workplace.
