Part-time assistant and legal researcher required by foreign lawyer currently working on a book project. Applicants MAY be either Chinese or foreign but MUST have a background in Chinese law, possess a solid understanding of the Chinese legal system, be able to use Chinese law library if needed, and conduct online electronic research. A solid level of spoken English is needed.

The position is best suited to either a recent law graduate looking for a new area of challenge, a law student nearing completion of studies looking to add to an already grinding workload or possibly a practicing lawyer who has the time and interest to take on a new project. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain experience in western law and to improve on their English language skills, written and spoken.
