Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Chinese Language, Translation or related disciplines
• At least 2 years’ full-time working experience in Chinese editorial and/or English to Chinese translation work; in which at least 1 year of culture-related working experience in editorial/translation is preferred
• Proficient in graphic design using software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Experience in managing graphic design and production requirements and the ability to follow through the entire procedure for the production of books

Job Duties:

• To edit the Chinese texts of publication with fact checking and research
• To write up Chinese texts for publications and translation articles mainly from English to Chinese
• To proofread Chinese articles contributed by freelance writers and translators engaged
• To compile and manage the Chinese database for information on Hong Kong Films
• To support the production of all publications and assist in all matters related to editorial works
