Seeking a Chinese Mandarin Open Source ANALYST personnel in support of the INSCOM 1st IO. The 1st IO CMD provides Information Operations support to Army and other Military Forces through deployable support teams, reach back planning and analysis, and specialized training in order to support freedom of action in the information environment, to deny the same to our adversaries.

Primary duties include:

· Integrate foreign language open source information and data, conduct analysis, and produce open-source products in response to priority information requirements on political, military, economic, social, criminal, or counterterrorism issues.

· Provide foreign language and cultural subject matter expertise support as part of an open source research (OSR) data analysis cell.

· Provide analysis of foreign language media articles, to include social media content, from various and diverse sources of information, considering each source's unique biases.

· Apply knowledge of history, local customs, and current events in targeting, assessment, and trend analysis processes.

· Monitor local/regional print media sources, radio, television and satellite transmissions, social media platforms, and provide assessments of operational impacts.

· Conduct internet searches of geographic and topical interest for inclusion into analytical OSR reports and products.

· Conduct research using publicly available search engines, customer-defined software and applications, and tools for locating, identifying, and collecting information of interest.

· Process open source information of interest to include translation and interpretation to determine community sentiment, identify cultural nuances, and enable metadata discovery to define an actor's social media presence and influence across one or more social media platforms.

· Research, evaluate, correlate, analyze, integrate, and interpret information across multiple social media platforms to draw baseline inferences of the social media environment or define and describe the social media environment within a given topic area.

· Analyze social media information to derive temporal and spatial correlations to support customer requirements.

· Develop social networks and perform nodal network analysis.

· Provide specialized analytical products.

· Perform Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) as required

Security clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

Required Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of Chinese Mandarin Linguist experience.

· OR High School with 10 years of Chinese Mandarin Linguist experience.

· ILR L3/R3 language as measured by the DLPT or comparable test.

Desired Skills:

· Military experience preferred.

· Deployment experience strongly preferred.

· Master's degree preferred.

Degree:

· High School.
