Responsibilities:

• Independent legal researcher
• Almost independent external communication
• Project and team leader
• Under very limited own supervison

Requirements:

• high motivation to contribute as an international service provider
• excellent legal qualification, foreign degree(s) of advantage
• Chinese bar exam passed
• at least 6 to 8 years prior work experience either inhouse or in a major PRC or foreign law firm
• areas of experience: corporate law and M&A, in particular foreign direct investment and most important areas related to FDI (such as technology transfers and IP, LUR, lease and construction, employment etc.) as well as related legal due diligence exercises
• experience in TMC, automotive, life science / healthcare, machinery / automation, environment / environmental technologies is of advantage
• good appearance and manners
• experienced in direct contacts with foreign clients
• high level people management skills, good team worker, open to internal and external training and continuous learning
• excellent oral and written English skills equivalent to CET-6 or above
• English and Chinese typing skills
• full computer knowledge
