Job Summary
As a Basic English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students at the beginner level remotely. You will use your proficiency in both English and Chinese to facilitate effective learning, and integrate Christian values into the curriculum in an appropriate way.

Responsibilities-Teaching
Develop and deliver engaging basic English lessons via online platforms, including vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and simple sentence construction.
Use a variety of teaching methods such as games, songs, and storytelling to make lessons interesting and accessible for beginners.
Assess students' progress regularly through online quizzes, tests, and virtual class participation evaluations.

Cultural and Value Integration
Incorporate Christian values and teachings into the English curriculum in a subtle and educational manner, such as through relevant reading materials or discussions.
Encourage students to explore the connection between English-speaking cultures and Christian values.

Classroom Management
Maintain a positive and respectful virtual classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Manage student behavior effectively in the online setting, using positive reinforcement and appropriate disciplinary measures when necessary.

Qualifications-Language Skills
Native - level English proficiency with clear pronunciation. Fluent in Chinese, able to use Chinese for teaching support when needed.

Educational Background
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, English Language, or a related field.

Christian Affiliation
Committed Christian with a deep understanding of Christian values and teachings.

Teaching Experience
Previous experience teaching English, especially to beginners, is highly preferred.

Technical Skills
Proficiency in using common online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Classin) and educational software.

Other Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
