The AppsFlyer Localization team is looking for a talented Chinese Translator to join our Marketing department. We coordinate translation projects, working closely with language specialists, developers, CSMs, product managers and other stakeholders across the company to make sure to maintain the original meaning, format and tone of the content. Apart from localizing content, we also ensure AppsFlyer’s knowledge base, products and features are adapted to specific markets.

Responsibilities

• Translating marketing and technical content in Chinese according to the market’s needs
• Localize blog posts, knowledge base, landing pages, newsletters, brochures and an array of marketing collateral on new products and features
• QA, review and proofread translate material in Chinese
• Work closely with relevant business units, product managers, developers and other team members across the company to ensure that all AppsFlyer marketing collateral on features and products are seamlessly delivered within set deadlines

Requirements

• A native Chinese speaker with at least 1 year of professional writing experience, including marketing, technical, media and/or product writing
• Native or advanced proficiency in spoken and written English
• Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling and punctuation errors
• Ability to manage several projects at the same time in a very fast paced environment with tight deadlines, detailed oriented
• Great team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Understanding of both Chinese and American business practices

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Creative Writing, Communication, Journalism or a related field
• Experience with marketing and technical writing
• Being introduced by an AppsFlyer team member
• Previous experience with one of the following tools: Smartling, Wordpress, Hubspot
