Position Summary:

In this role you will provide technical services to Bentley users implementing and utilizing Bentley Heavy Civil and Project Management software.  Bentley’s heavy civil product portfolio is a leading-edge software system that provides the end user the ability to automate the field data collection, inspection, reporting, and document control functions within heavy civil construction projects, leading to improved construction project delivery. 

 

Your Day-to-Day:

• Primary function is to provide deployment, configuration and training services to clients utilizing Bentley’s heavy civil construction software. 
• Provide client deliverables, technical direction, and guidance to ensure that the goals of the client are achieved. 
• Provide customer training, including “in person” and “remote” via computer screen sharing sessions.  Training includes multi day, instructor led training sessions, web- based screen sharing sessions,  software product demonstrations, and webinars. 
• Perform limited new product testing and deployment.  Performing this duty will require specialized, knowledge of Bentley’s construction software and the various software that it integrates with, along with the construction process that the software supports. 
• Manage customer relations including the written, verbal, and social interactions required to maintain existing and build new customer relationships based around the successful implementation and utilization of Bentley’s heavy civil software.
• Understand heavy civil construction processes including field inspections, information management, survey, site logistics, and project management of heavy civil infrastructure (roads, rail, bridges, tunnels, etc.).

 

What You Bring to The Team:

• A bachelor’s degree in civil or construction Engineering and / or a related field along with associated computer knowledge is the minimum educational requirement. 
• Up to 25-50% travel time can be expected
• Have experience in 3D modeling utilizing 3D CAD software such as GeoPak, InRoads, OpenRoads, and Autodesk Civil 3D,
• Experience with planning and scheduling software including Synchro, Microsoft Project, Asta Powerproject, and Primavera P6. 
• Possesses knowledge of the construction industry, civil engineering and the associated software utilized by the industry
