The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join the AIA Claims Development team to lead a team of 10 Claims Development Managers. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding AIA’s claims standards, philosophy and quality assurance through reporting, continuous improvement, and change management.
To do this successfully you will:
- Participate in continuous improvement and change management activities and projects
- Ensure that claims practices are conducted in accordance with AIA policies, procedures and regulations
- Manage the end to end quality control of claims through formal reviews providing written analysis and trend reporting to senior management
- Engage with key stakeholders including reinsurers and consultants in order to proactively drive improvements
Successful applications will demonstrate:
- Experience in the life insurance industry
- Strong leadership and relationship management skills
- Understanding of claims management models and practices
- Training needs analysis and program development skills
- High level knowledge of product, medical, system and legislation/regulations impacting the life insurance industry
