Seeking our next Cleaning Services Manager

 

About the Role
•    Plan and coordinate all activities in the Housekeeping and Laundry teams to ensure tasks are completed at or above the required standard and within specified timeframes
•    Accountable to the General Manager for the productivity of the department, within the budgetary guidelines
•    Carry out regular inspections of the property in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all facilities are being cleaned and maintained according to Health, Safety and Infection Prevention

 

Control standards
•    Ensure the department is prepared for any changes in business levels
•    Maintain appearance and cleanliness of resident rooms and Property grounds, ensuring maximum comfort and Infection Control Prevention at all times 
•    Work closely with the Resident Experience Manager, Laundry Manager and Maintenance Manager to ensure a changeover of rooms within specified timeframes
•    Order and control all Housekeeping inventory, including chemicals, linen and supplies

 

About you
•    Previous similar or housekeeping manager experience with a 200+ room hotel
•    Previous experience in a similar role within a professional hotel environment and in a similar size property 
•    Strong organisational skills, time management and ability to manage spontaneous requests 
•    Experience in workforce management with rostering in line with accommodation activities and staffing forecasts
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with varied audiences 
•    Demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers and suppliers 
•    Sound knowledge of risk management and health and safety best practices
