Clerk I (holding the functional title of Facility Booking Officer) in the Centre for Sports and Exercise (Ref.: 494464) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE, including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics; with at least 5 years' relevant work experience. They should have good communication and inter-personal skills; the ability to lead a team and work in a team; a proactive attitude to make suggestions / recommendations to supervisor; a willingness to take up work challenges and additional job responsibilities; strong work ethic and high level of personal integrity. Applicants should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua, good knowledge of PC and software applications, and proficiency in word-processing.

The appointee will serve as Sports Facility Booking Officer. He/She will be responsible for the handling of sports facility booking and enquiries; hiring fee processing; liaising with hirers to understand their needs in equipment and venue setup; and performing any other duties as assigned by the Facility Management Team. The post is based at the Flora Ho Sports Centre, Pokfulam Road. The number of working hours per week is 39 hours.
