• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies from the Construction Industry Council in Hong Kong / Hong Kong Polytechnic / Hong Kong Polytechnic University / Hong Kong Technical College / Hong Kong Technical Institute / Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or equivalent / Engineering qualifications.
• 8 years’ relevant post-qualification experience / 5 years' relevant experience as RACOW
• Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2* or above in English Language and Chinese Language in Hong Kong Certificate Education Examination (HKCEE)/ Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or equivalent.

[ Note * Grade E or above in Chinese language and in English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.]
