Job Description

Intel's Sales and Marketing Group (SMG) is looking for interns to join our team. SMG is collectively responsible for driving the accelerated adoption of Intel technology. You will work in an innovative, fast-paced environment with experienced sales and marketing professionals and you will have exposure to many of the aspects of SMG. As a business sales intern you will be working with managers and staff on projects that will impact sales strategy, customer relationships, digital studio strategies and data analytics.

These projects will help drive decisions impacting our sales teams' ability to deliver results. You will interact with Account Managers, Industry Technical Specialists, and Technical Applications Engineers to learn how we establish and grow profitable relationships while competing in a highly diverse ecosystem of products and components.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

At Consumer Electronics Show in January of 2022, Intel marked a new era in the discrete graphics market by announcing shipment of Intel Arc graphics (code-named "Alchemist") to original equipment manufacturer customers. Intel Arc graphics is the brand for Intel's upcoming consumer high-performance graphics product. Intel Arc graphics products built on gaming-first Codename Alchemist SoCs will be available in desktops, add-in-cards, and notebook form factors from global partners in 2022.

This is an exciting opportunity to be an intern in Intel's Client Channel Sales Team, and support sales plans and activities for the Intel Arc add-in-cards together with 12th Gen Intel Core processors.

Qualifications

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.  Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with three years’ related  job experience.  This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor’s degree and less than three years’ experience. 

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrolled and pursuing a BS degree or BA degree in Business Management, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or similar.

  • Minimum GPA: 3.0

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of sales cycle and marketing strategies

  • Familiarity with Intel Architecture products and customers and a working knowledge of broader PC market drivers and trends

  • Proven experience engaging with and supporting customers

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00 (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
