Do you have experience with EU /EEA and Swiss legal and regulatory matters related to institutional asset management business? Are you interested in the institutional asset management business and to take charge of legal aspects of activities related thereto?

We're looking for someone like that to join our team on a permanent basis to
– advice on all legal and regulatory aspects related to offering and distribution of financial products and services to institutional and professional clients in Switzerland and Europe. This includes in particular advice with regard to all kind of portfolio management and execution only activities as well as related services and products, and the distribution and offering of investment instruments (main focus) as well as sales related topics.
– Contract drafting and negotiation of standardized and tailor-made documents as well as contribution to the development of internal and industry standards.
• Legal assessment and recommendations to senior management and business partners.
• Representing Legal in x-regional/ global projects on new offerings, services or projects of EU and Swiss regulatory relevance.
• Collaboration with other internal stakeholders from same or other UBS divisions (Global Wealth Management and Investment Bank) in and outside of Switzerland (EMEA, APAC, Americas) and management of outside counsel.
• Provide in-house trainings to legal colleagues and other stakeholders and participate in multidisciplinary and international regulatory working groups
