The opportunity:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our team on a six-month contract. This is a great opportunity to acquire some experience across a group insurance team where you’ll support all team members and add value by building great relationships and providing support across areas such as underwriting and claims. You’ll work flexibly where cover is required and this role is all about delivering on exceptional attention to detail and time management, making it easy for all advisers of group schemes to do business with AIA NZ.

Bring your strong administration experience to the team and take the opportunity to gain exposure or further develop your experience within the Insurance industry!

About the role:

  • Develop, maintain and support relationships with advisers, customer and internal and external stakeholders

  • Underwriting support by preparing the applications for underwriters, requesting medical information, issuing acceptance terms and keeping advisers and customers up to date

  • Claims support by preparing and submitting claim files for the claims assessors

  • Other administration support for the team such as managing the team inbox etc.

About you:

  • Have strong administration experience

  • Strong relationship building and communication skills

  • Effective time management skills

  • Tech savvy with experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

  • Experience in insurance and financial services isn’t required but helpful if you do have it
