Client Manager - New Business Affairs (Foreigners only)
The European Buyers Council (EBC), with its headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, is an innovative connecting organization. The aim is to bring countries, associations and companies closer together and establish long-term relationships.
Over the last 30 years on the European market we built up a huge network of clients in several of industries, projects and partnerships. We are active in direct business-to-business operations, cooperate with associations and have access to governmental partners.
The Chinese operations are managed by our office in Guangzhou, Zhujiang New Town. We are reducing barriers and building bridges for innovative Chinese suppliers to increase their business to European buyers, for Mergers & Acquisitions to find the perfect partner and we bring European Engineers (Experts) to Chinese manufacturer.

To explore and establish new leads for the EBC client data base we are looking for a Client Manager - New Business Affairs (Foreigners only)
To be part of the Guangzhou team and get hands on experience in developing the local market with an innovative business concept.
Location: Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou, China

Responsibilities:
Identify innovative Chinese manufactures and start-ups to offer professional solutions to explore and increase their business in the European market
Identify and taking care of local governments and associations
Explore the local market via cold-calls and other effective channels like fairs, events, incubator parks and association
Actively contact and visit potential suppliers
Update clients with market trends from Europe
Understand the comprehensive products and services, inform clients with total solutions, answer clients’ questions
Maintain long-term relationship with clients

Qualifications:
Graduated at a Chinese University with a bachelor degree or above, majored in International Business Management or similar
First experience’s through an internship or similar in the service industry in dealing with manufacturer, start-ups, or associations
Knowledge of foreign trade and the process of export is preferred
Chinese business fluent in written and oral (B1 or parallel), English business fluent in written and oral (B1 or parallel), German is a plus
Client-oriented, optimistic and confident, can work under pressure
High communication and learning ability
Love to serve clients and open for challenging tasks, willing to make effort for high salary
Flexibility and creativity in difficult situations to achieve positive results
Work/study experience abroad is a plus
