Interested in being on the front lines of understanding and analyzing CPU and platform performance in the client market segment? If so, we are looking for individuals who want to be hands on and be responsible for:
Developing test plans and expectations with team members, Marketing & Engineering customers and management
Set up and calibration of systems for testing
Generating performance, power, and battery life data (using industry benchmarks, custom workloads and tools)
Analyzing the results, debugging and digging deeper as requested and concisely summarizing the results
Making recommendations based on that analysis, to both engineering and marketing (leading to impacts on engineering, sales, and marketing)
Owning & Developing methodologies within" the team.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
3+ years of experience in:
Building/installing/debugging client computer systems running Windows
Client operating systems (primarily Windows)
Data analysis and problem-solving
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of demonstrated experience with:
Operating systems such as Linux, Chrome OS, Mac OS
Benchmarks/workloads/analysis/power measurement
Client system and CPU architecture and what contributes to client performance and power use
