Location: North Point

Roles & responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations and service delivery, and manage the resources of the clinic;
• undertake planning, implementation, evaluation and quality improvement of services;
• coordinate with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals, community organizations and the public for delivery of services and health education;
• lead and supervise the multi-disciplinary team of staff in the clinic with provision of staff training for their continuous professional development;
• act as resource and referral agent on clinical expertise;
• perform clinical duties including follow-up the clients with abnormal examination results, and provide counseling services and health education to clients, their relatives and the public;
• manage the clients’ relationship including the related complaints;
• handle data entry of the examination results and compile statistics reports;
• initiate and participate in evidence-based practice and research; and
• perform any duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A recognized degree in nursing/related discipline or equivalent;
• registered at the Nursing Council of Hong Kong with a valid Practising Certificate;
• at least 5 years’ post-registration experience in healthcare, preferably in endoscopy/gastroenterology/perioperative care/ambulatory services/administration and management of healthcare services;
• preferably with a Master’s degree or Postgraduate Diploma in:
  (a) nursing specialty; or
  (b) nursing/public health/health services management or related discipline; and
• preferably with a recognized nursing specialty training in endoscopy/gastroenterology/perioperative care/ambulatory services.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $53,500 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 26). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid leave, medical services, dental scheme and training sponsorship.
