An exciting, commercial opportunity, has recently become available for a qualified Sonographer to join the team. Whether coming from a pure clinical background or having already made the shift into the commercial world, your clinical experience and customer-centric approach will be highly valued. Based in Perth and reporting to the Clinical Product Manager Ultrasound, you will work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders and customers and play a pivotal role in the ongoing success of the Ultrasound business. Providing clinical support throughout the entire lifecycle of the relationship with both new and existing customers, you will work in partnership with Account Managers to deliver pre-sale presentations and demonstrations. You will also ensure that customers are adequately trained to optimally use the equipment delivered / installed and handed over by Philips Healthcare and maximising customer satisfaction throughout the whole life cycle.

Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Philips Healthcare solutions during customer visits, product demonstrations, seminars and trade shows

  • Train customers in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage of the equipment delivered

  • Train / re-train hospital staff in case of new releases, upgrade and versions (changes) in the operating procedures of the equipment

  • Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback from them about the quality of the training delivery and the customer satisfaction

  • Be aware and to manage at all times the safety standards required by the company, health and safety regulations. In the event of hazards or accidents, to take immediate control of the situation and involve the safety advisor from the Regional office

  • Support product launches and advises the sales force during acquisition

  • Keep up to date with new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment

  • Responsible for reporting customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policy and follow up relevant assigned quality & regulatory training in a timely manner

Your team:

You will be working with other passionate and enthusiastic people committed to providing the very best service to customers. More broadly you will be working as part of the Philips Healthcare team, and have daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders across the business, especially the Ultrasound, Sales and Product Management teams.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post Graduate studies in Sonography

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of the Ultrasound modality

  • Previous experience in presentations and training

  • Outstanding relationship building and communication skills

  • High levels of motivation, energy and a drive to achieve results

  • Desire to be in a commercially focused role, partnering the business

  • Ability to travel for approximately 40% of the time predominantly supporting WA with an oversight of SA metro and regional areas.
