In this role, you have the opportunity to
be the clinical lead in the development of new clinical applications on Computed Tomography (CT) and Advanced Molecular Imaging (AMI) scanners and workstations. Responsibilities include innovation, requirements specification and management, working closely with the development teams and clinical aspects testing.
You are responsible for
Product development support for CT and AMI:
Lead clinical applications innovation in CT and AMI scanners and workstation
High level clinical requirements input to business case
Detailed clinical and workflow requirements for all clinical aspects of the CT and AMI scanner and the clinical applications on the workstation
Support development cycle, to global development teams: support R&D team throughout the development process including risk assessment, implementation support, verification, defect prioritization, beta sites support and regulatory activity
Local and global sales support:
Site visits
Presentations
Educate local sales people
Cooperate with other clinical scientists, software architects and software developers from the BIU and Philips Research
Function as product owner (PO) to various scrum teams developing novel CT/AMI advanced visualization applications
Make knowledge available for operational use within Philips to support marketing efforts and increase market awareness and acceptance of new technology solutions, by demonstrating the added value to clinical outcome
Support regulatory activities (FDA, EU MDR, NMPA)
You are a part of
Clinical Science team, within CT/AMI organization
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Certified CT/PET/X-Ray Technician
Proven experience as a technician in SPECT/PET
Experience in SPECT/PET advanced visualization applications - an advantage
Understanding of Project Management principles: Planning, Execution, Timely Deliverables, Mitigations to project risks
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
Understanding of basic statistics principles
Experience in technical writing and fluent English
Strong advantage: experience with regulatory standards and submissions (EU-MDR, FDA)
