AstraZeneca’s strategy in CVRM focuses on ways to reduce morbidity, mortality and organ damage by addressing multiple risk factors across cardiovascular (CV) disease, diabetes and chronic kidney-disease indications.  The patient-centric approach is reinforced by science-led life-cycle management programs and technologies, including early research into regenerative methods.


Typical Accountabilities:

Reporting to the CVRM Head of Medical, the CVRM Clinical Science Liaison will serve as a key clinical liaison to advanced practice health care professionals (HCPs). The CVRM Clinical Science Liaison will be a key member of the CVRM Field Medical Affairs team, working in close partnership with the CVRM Medical Science Liaisons and other field roles.

As a CVRM Clinical Science Liaison, you will identify and establish scientific relationships with primary care physicians (PCP) and other health care professionals when appropriate. You will implement educational programs on disease state with a focus on CV, Diabetes and CKD and respond to customer inquiries to ensure focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of AstraZeneca's products.

Additionally as a CVRM Clinical Science Liaison, you will be accountable for development and implementation of territory medical plans aligned with AZ medical strategy.

You will deliver clinical and scientific information to support appropriate use of AstraZeneca's products in a patient focused manner; maintain expertise in disease state management, emerging therapies and the competitive landscape; gather medical actionable insights regarding therapeutic area to help and inform area x-functional strategy.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree in Nursing, Pharmacy or another health-related field
  • At least 1 year of direct patient care experience
  • Exceptional ability to work in cross-functional environment
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate medical data/concepts
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Patient focus mindset
  • Driving license and willingness to drive within whole country
