Primary Function


The Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) is an in-country position, reporting to the Regional Manager of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU). The CSS is responsible for providing clinical and technical support to the Regional Managers and Sales Reps working alongside the Training Manager to our customers in hospital.


Responsibilities

The main responsibilities will encompass, but will not be limited to:


Coordinate Training and Technical Field Support


? Plan and implement clinical training programs for Doctors, COOK and Distributor Sales Reps.

o Coordinate training programs with Training Manager

o Work with Training Manager to plan and implement training and support content

o Provide Field Support with new Sales Reps periodically throughout the first year and thereafter, to be determined by National and/or Regional Manager.

o Supporting relevant Field Work as requested by National and/or Regional Managers.

? Evaluate, plan, and conduct periodic training (remedial, update, new) for Sales Reps as requested or determined necessary.

? Coordinate, plan, and implement product training program for customers.

o Regular product updates for all customers

? Develop and provide training programs for China distributors as requested by SBU Team.

? Coordinate training efforts with National and/or Regional Manager.


Clinical and Technical Resource


? Serve as clinical and technical resource for COOK and Distributor Sales Reps.

? Serve as technical resource to support procedural cases with Doctors; e.g. ZPTX Clinical study case support.

? Assist Training Manager in the development of educational materials for Doctors, COOK and Distributor Sales Reps.

? Coordinate and implement physician training events and continuing education programs.

? Screen and edit medical journal summaries for distribution to Sales Team.

? Collect and disseminate relevant market information regularly.


Meeting Support


? Attend major peripheral intervention related meetings/conferences throughout the year with approval from National and/or Regional Manager.

? Assist National and/or Regional Managers with meetings/conference coverage as required.


Support and Develop Reference Centres


? Assist National and/or Regional Managers with identifying of key reference centres.

? Coordinate clinical evaluations, peer training, market research and new product launch through reference centres network.

? Assist to build and support reference centres KOL relationship.

? Optimise reference centre network towards new product ideas collection.


Qualifications


? Bachelor degree or higher; Medical Bachelor preferred

? Minimum 3 years or more related nursing/medical industry experience

? Technical skills and clinical knowledge.

? Proven experience in clinical education and training, with the ability to interact effectively with large groups, as well as on a one-to-one basis

? In-depth understanding and knowledge of peripheral intervention environment, anatomy, products and key procedures.

? Strong communication skills are a must due to high-level interaction with key customers.

? Language Skills - good written and verbal command of Chinese and working level of English.

? Good inter-personal skills.

? Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office.

? Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines

? High level of self-motivation.


Requirements


? Substantial local travel can be expected and will be part of this position.

? Willingness to attend meetings/conferences outside of office hours and during weekends.

? Comply with travel and subsistence rules and submit all expense reports in a timely manner.

? Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct and Cook Compliance is complied with in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf.
