VLA (Validation Labs and Automation) in iVE (Intel Validation Engineering) is looking for self-driven and enthusiastic Cloud Application Development Engineer to develop Software Solutions delivered by VLA. As a Cloud Application Development Engineer you will develop applications that work in and on industry or hybrid cloud environments using capabilities and frameworks from internal and external cloud providers. You will develop internal software solutions used by engineers for day to day validation activities.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor´s Degree or higher in CS or similar STEM degree.
2+ years of experience with any of the following:

• Software development on Windows OS
• C# or NET or Visual Studio
• Test automation (unit, system, and integration testing)
• Revision control (Git, Perforce, etc.) and CI/CD (GitLab, TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.)
• Application lifecycle management software
• Agile software development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar technologies.
Microservices architecture design and concepts, including cloud computing infrastructure
Experience with frameworks like Angular, React

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
