Position Description: 

Develop and maintain highly available mission critical services through clustering, scaling, and load-balancing technologies
 Manage local and remote Linux servers across multiple physical, virtual, IaaS cloud server environments
 Participate in the design of cloud computing platform systems
 Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
 Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
 Write and maintain scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
 Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
 Identifying and correcting problems stemming from audit and compliance.
 Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Position Requirements: 

10+ years of cloud computing platform development experience
 Strong knowledge in building, running and maintaining the cloud computing platform in production by leveraging tools such as docker and k8s. Cloud certification from any major cloud provider is a plus
 Familiarity with some of topics such as: IPC, Linux filesystem, Image distribution, Content storage and management, Kernel and container security, Linux containerization
 Fluency in at least one programming language: go, and C/C++. Python, Java or PHP is a plus.
 Familiar with Git/Gerrit source code management tool
 Excellent communication skills, good teamwork adaptability, good oral and written English skills, self-motivated.
