The Cloud Senior Analyst will be part of the Delivery & Optimization Cloud tower. The main responsibilities are in the CIP (Continuous Improvement Projects) area across Cloud supported technologies such as Windows, Linux, VMware, Security, Storage, Web Hosting and Cloud. Besides the technologies, the job holder will look after automating Cloud process and procedures and also manage the Data Center facilities operations.

This role is main focused in CIP and Level 3 administrative tasks such as capacity management, performance management in conjunction with the offshore team.

 

Key Responsibility 

- CIP – Lead Continuous Improvement Projects looking after our current scope, work for long term solutions.
- Solutions Deployments – Work in conjunction with Cloud Engineers implementing the new solutions designed by the Solutions Architects
- Monitor Capacity & Security – Review data provided by the offshore team related to capacity, performance and security management (patching) and ensure an action plan to fix any gap.
- Security Audits – Work in conjunction with Cloud Engineers and Business Mgt analysts during audit requests.
- Automation – Automate Cloud process and procedures available in the Cloud Service Catalog interacting with Automation team
- Infrastructure Maintenance – Ensure regular maintenances are performed by the offshore and support in their needs if necessary
- Data Center Facilities – Keep and improve Data Center facilities as well co-location third party. 
- Web Cloud maintenance – Deploy and maintain web sites hosted on premise as well in cloud

Context and Scope


Cloud area supports different technologies such as Servers, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, Security. It supports Mars internal customers and work in partnership with SITS organization with a support from a third-party off shore team. Besides the technical work performed by the team there is a huge amount of management and administrative activities that need to be done to ensure a good service level and track progress of the improvements.
The Cloud senior analyst will be responsible to ensure the overall functioning of the infrastructure supported by Cloud team, covering the whole scope of the team in terms of technologies and functions.
The role is an individual contributor that will interact with all levels of Digital Technologies, and the business. The successful candidate will use technology expertise, process knowledge (ITIL), project management and strong communication and influencing skills to:
-    Have a pro-active look at the environment and identify opportunities
-    Work in collaboration with other towers in Continuous Improvement Projects
-    Ensure Operational Excellence in conjunction with Offshore team
-    Optimize and improve Cloud process and procedures
-    Work in several initiatives at the same time – small and bigger activities
The successful candidate will also be able to collaborate with and work across related areas such as Security (including Identity and Access Management), related projects such as Digital Workplace, and overall Enterprise Architecture.

 

Qualification

Education & Professional Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Technical Certifications in Web technologies would be beneficial (Microsoft IIS/SQL Server, Apache, MySQL; or Technical Certification in the areas related to Cloud scope.

 

Knowledge/Experience
- At least 5 years experience in IT.
- User Centered Design and Agile development methodologies a plus.
- 5 years experience working with Global Companies.
- 5 years experience with (Windows Server or) VMware Administration.
- 5 years experience with Linux Server Administration.
- Experience with Data Center Infrastructure.
- Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
- Experience with Cloud Platform IaaS, PaaS, SaS.
- Strong Analytical skills.
- Versatile knowledge in infra structure areas with a strong learning agility.
- Interpersonal and collaboration skills.
