Job Overview

Daimler Trucks North America's (DTNA) IT Connectivity Platform department is seeking a Platform Engineer to support an Agile DevOps team responsible for DTNA's connected vehicle platform.
 
The Telematics Platform Connectivity team is part of the Digital Vehicle Services (DVS) group and is responsible for development and operations of DTNA's hybrid cloud (Azure / On Prem) Telematics infrastructure.  Our connectivity platform team is looking for a person with relevant knowledge or experience in infrastructure as code, automation and systems administration in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities
 
Work under supervision of an infrastructure cloud architect and other team members
Work with teammates in developing infrastructure as code
Monitor and troubleshoot platform and OS issues
Debugging technical issues
Maintaining a scalable cloud environment
Maintain platform and systems uptime – incident and Problem resolution
Meet SLAs and defined targets
