Datacenter Business Innovation Office (DBIO) is looking for a talented, creative and passionate Cloud DevOps Engineer with a can-do attitude, eagerness to learn and build new things from scratch. Our team is paving the way for new and innovative business in areas that are of transformative strategic importance for Intel's Datacenter group. We are driving co-engineering with startup companies, ecosystem players, key customers, and other partners within and outside of Intel to accelerate go-to market. The ideal candidate will have proven, hands-on experience designing, building and maintaining highly available cloud-native SaaS applications on one of the major cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure), including designing and building CI/CD and observability tools to accommodate a fast paced and agile Software development lifecycle. Position is in Petah Tikvah, Israel (Hybrid) Responsibilities � Responsible for hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructure design, development and deployment � Responsible for designing, building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines � Responsible for designing, building and maintaining our SaaS system monitoring and observability � Responsible for high availability and reliability of production systems � Research new technologies and platforms � Be a member of a highly talented cross-functional development team in an agile oriented environment � Participate in continuous and iterative engineering cycles, emphasizing code quality, supportability, scalability, and performance.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
� Passion and enthusiasm for DevOps
� 1+ years' of experience as a Cloud Infrastructure DevOps engineer serving high-scale production grade SaaS applications on one of the major CSPs (AWS/GCP/Azure)
� Hands-on experience with one or more Infrastructure as Code technology (Terraform/Cloud Formation/CDK/Pulumi)
� Proven multitasking ability while maintaining high quality of deliverables
� Problem solver - excellent design and analytical skills
� Agile - comfortable with fast-paces development (thinks like a startup)
� Fast learner - High ability to use new technologies and understand them in depth through rapid self-learning
� Thinks like a startup, with creative, out-of-the-box thinking
� Driven by best practices, performance, scalability, security, reliability and beautiful code
� 2+ years working with Unix/Linux systems
� 2+ years experience with one or more scripting language (GO/Python)
� Highly comfortable with Unix/Linux systems with hands-on experience in shell scripting - Bash, ZSH, Shell, etc.
� Experience with git source control
� Fluent in English, good writing skills

� B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
� Hands-on experience with containers and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, helm, etc.) - big advantage
� Experience with AWS services - Lambda, Cognito, ALB, API GW, EKS
� Experience with a modern monitoring system (Datadog etc.)
� Experience with cloud storage technologies - databases, object stores, in-memory caches, etc. (DynamoDB, Aurora, RDS-RLS, S3, etc.)
� Knowledge of Authentication and authorization in the internet (OAuth2.0 and OIDC)
� Strong architectural skills and understanding of complex technical challenges
� Hands-on experience with agile testing methodologies and patterns
� 2+ years experience in Python and/or GO - Big advantage
� Experienced with microservice/event-oriented design and development
� Experience with CI/CD best practices and concepts
� Experience with Open Source projects
� Experience with Time-series databases (Prometheus - big advantage)
� Experience with Observability platforms (Grafana - big advantage)
� Proven ability to multi-task while maintaining high quality of deliverables

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
