Position Overview Seeking a Cloud Architect with a passion for technology, the ability to understand and assess new technologies and understanding their applicability to business. Our architects support the full life cycle from client needs analysis, through design, build migration and go live. They are continually assessing emerging products and services that improve the business of the clients we serve. Responsibilities Design and develop Cloud architecture and infrastructure for Siemens Software Solutions Design and conduct application testing methods to drive architecture designs and optimization Coordinate activities with customers and Cloud Application Services teams for reviews and testing Provide troubleshooting expertise for performance and other issues. Streamline the development lifecycle with automated provisioning and testing of resources Demonstrable Enterprise Architecture planning and design skills Good written and verbal communication skills Good analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills Ability to gather customer requirements and translate those requirements into short and long-term deliverables Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of IT experience Experience with designing, consulting, and implementing of software applications Good understanding and experience working with IT infrastructure, operating systems and common enterprise database platforms. Familiar with concepts high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems and hybrid cloud environments General skills and awareness of requirements management, defect management, and configuration management processes Comfortable with Software Development Life Cycles, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment Ability to use a wide variety of opensource technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is preferred) Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience Experience with multi-tiered enterprise class applications such as in PLM, MOM etc. Scripting experience with Javascript, Bash, Python, and other similar languages Knowledge of web applications, database and file management systems #DISW #LI-PLM #LI-Hybrid Organization: Digital Industries Company: Siemens Industry Software (India) Private Limited Experience Level: Experienced Professional Full / Part time: Full-time
