This position is a Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) aligned to the Business Unit Sales (DCAI Sales) head to support customers in the Cloud, Enterprise and Government verticals in EMEA.
Responsibilities May include:
- Responsible for advising and influencing end user customers, ISVs, OEMs, GSI and partners, covering EMEA. Serve as an architectural resource to field teams with customers in winning key platform and solutions.
- Responsible for understanding the business use case and technical merits of a solution and co-owning relationships with customer/partner decisionmakers to influence the customers' purchasing decisions.
- Works with all audiences to accelerate adoption of Intel based platforms and document gaps/provide feedback to solution stakeholders including: solution architects, vertical/horizontal business leaders and partners, OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), system integrators, solution integrators, solution providers, and ISVs and service providers.
- Daily activities will include providing direct technical solutions assistance to customers and partners, interfacing with Sr. technical decision makers for Line of Business and Operational Technology Groups and representing customer market segment requirements back into the business unit for future product planning.
- Drive key product and platform requirements into Intel product teams as the voice of the customer and escalate key related issues through appropriate venues.
- Act as a Regional Technical Sales Resource who will train the Intel field teams by delivering detailed product presentations, competitive analysis and platform solutions.
A successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Deep knowledge of cloud and data center technologies, Intel server products, industry server platforms, ingredients within the platforms (memory, IO, storage, networking), and their relationship to cloud solutions for end-customer usage and benefit.
- Proven hands-on knowledge on some of the following domains - Cloud computing, enterprise datacenter infrastructure, Virtualization, containerization technologies/Kubernetes, database design, data warehousing, ETL/data ops, storage, networking, and security.
- Track record of delivering complex hardware and software solutions deployed in enterprise or cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience on Virtualization platforms (VMWare, KVM and/or Hyper-V), Container/Micro-services and/or Cloud Storage solutions.
- Experience in infrastructure software development will be an added advantage.
- Hands-on systems set-up, configuration and implementation in Intel labs, customer labs, or in a hyperscale public cloud infrastructure.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required, including the ability to effectively present in front of a large audience.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications noted below to be initially considered for this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Sufficient experience in a technical sales role within a medium to a large organization with a strong track record of selling technical Cloud (Public, Private, Hybrid), Data or AI solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Candidate will cover more countries in EMEA so travel will be needed when back to normal conditions.
