The Cloud Software Engineering organization is looking for a Bachelor's or Master's degree student to take up an internship position for a 6-12 month fixed-term period. The intern would be working on cloud native technologies and projects. The team in question is focusing on Kubernetes and service mesh enabling, ensuring Intel's technologies can be used smoothly in cloud native environments. Daily tasks in this position include documentation, validation, fixing bugs and developing new features to our cloud native projects, setting up and maintaining development clusters and writing test automation cases. Qualifications

You are currently studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. You must have 2-3+ years academic studies behind you and skills and experience in the following areas: � Practical knowledge of Linux OS and its internals, � Basic understanding of public and private cloud infrastructures � Good Go/Python/Perl/applicable scripting language programming skills � Practical experience in software engineering, � Fluency in written and spoken English. The most important qualifications for a successful internship are solid team working skills, a high level of motivation and drive to learn and apply new information in practice. For your application to stand out, you have previously participated in the open source software development and understand what words like Kubernetes, Envoy, Istio and container mean in cloud native context.
