The Cloud Software Engineering organization is looking for SW Engineer to join our cloud native enabling team. You can be a fresh university graduate or already have couple of years work experience behind you. In this position you will be working on the latest cloud native technologies and projects. The team in question is focusing on Kubernetes enabling and ensuring Intel's technologies can be used smoothly in Kubernetes orchestrated clouds.

Key responsibilities in this position are:

• Designing and implementing Kubernetes and cloud native enablers and applications for Intel's technologies, e.g. accelerators, networking, CPU and storage.
• Driving the technologies and solutions to various upstream communities and projects for adoption across the industry.
• Documenting, maintaining and validating existing SW projects the team is working on.

Qualifications

You must have MSc or equivalent degree in SW Engineering and skills and experience in the following areas:

• Practical knowledge of Linux OS and its internals,
• Good programming and SW design skills,
• Solid team working skills and high level of motivation to learn,
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

In addition, we appreciate:

• Experience in Kubernetes and microservices architecture,
• Experience in container runtimes, e.g. containerd and CRI-O
• Good Go programming and shell scripting skills,
• Open source community involvement and contributions,
• Practical SW development experience,
• Knowledge of Intel CPUs and technologies like QAT, SGX or RDT.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
