As an intern, you will be mentored by a Sr. Engineer in the importance and best practices of SW development and validation. The candidate will participate in the development of the infrastructure that allows performance engineers measure performance; this will be done by coding of new features, debugging and bug fixing existing features. Additionally, you will work in an Agile organization following the SW leading procedures and methods, you will collaborate with people across the world.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 3+ months of experience in all of the following:
  • Programming experience in Python Scripting.
  • Object Oriented programming.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Intermediate or advanced English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of computer architecture.
• Automated Infrastructure Management: Puppet, Ansible, etc.
• Docker containers knowledge/experience.
• Bash scripting.
• Kubernetes.
• CSP knowledge: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
