The Eaton Power Quality team is accelerating advancement of its digital platform and is scaling plans to implement the software solutions to customers worldwide. The software technology is designed to help manage, monitor and control devices along with management of key resources such as power, space and IT Infrastructure in our customer computing environments with a particular focus on data center as well as commercial and industrial buildings.
To support this digital strategy, the Cloud Services Manager owns EMEA Cloud-based solutions roadmap as well as its effective deployment strategy in accordance with regional / local data hosting requirements and costs.
Your key deliverables :
In order to provide product offering that fulfills customers’ needs, the Cloud Services Manager performs the following critical tasks:
- Ramp up the Cybersecured Remote Monitoring platform in the IT channel as part of the Distributed Services portfolio in conjunction with the Services organization in EMEA
- Ensures proper data model is defined and made available at the level of the UPS connectivity solutions to create relevant dataset in the Cloud
- Drives the new product developments from the specification of market requirements to the launch and post launch of new services aligned with Eaton Digital Office cloud platform roadmap
- Develop new business models as needed (go to market, packages, pricing model) together with IT Channel team, Segment and Service teams
- Benchmarks EMEA solutions and EDO cloud offering to select most effective hosting solution able to address EMEA markets specificities
- Effectively manages the cloud provider as well as any transition between providers if needed
- Trains application engineers and Sales/Marketing in countries
Qualifications
Are you?
Required:
- A Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
- 10+ Experience in selecting relevant data management / data hosting solution to enable design of B2B digital services, including experience in electrical power electronics and required data to perform maintenance of UPSes
- Advanced knowledge of software application definition, installation, and maintenance, preferably in IOT or other cloud-based solutions that are monetized
- Exceptional ability to drive application innovation by analyzing market and competitor trends and proposing the adequate infrastructure for innovative digitally augmented services
- Ability to evaluate client feedback and improve front end application functionality in conjunction with Services organization
- Advanced ability to document processes, run diagnostic tests, and repair errors
- Proficiency in providing clients with technical product expertise
- Customer orientation (understand the customer buying journey), hands-on problem solving, action and solution oriented
