Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Network and Edge Group (NEX) for an exciting software engineering role. This role is part of NEX's Ethernet Product Group, where you will work on products fueling the data center growth. We are looking for a mid to senior level Engineer to define, design, and deliver code for the Data Center Switch Platforms. Qualifications

Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of industry work experience.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in C/C++/python development in a Linux environment.

• 2+ years of experience with embedded systems, practical knowledge of Internet protocols for example (TCP/IP operation).

• 2+ years of experience with Linux programming concepts.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing functional models of pre-silicon IPs is a huge plus.

• Experience in developing SDKs in cloud computing environment a plus.

• Experience in open source implementations will be a plus.

• Experience in working with cross-geo communities and customers will be highly desirable.

• Experience with P4 network protocol will be a plus.
