Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture definition and cloud software development for SaaS cloud platform. This role requires combined expertise in software development, programming, data science and data engineering.

• Develop cloud infrastructures for data engineering automation with performance analysis, cloud microservice architecture evaluation and deployment.

• Manage AWS resources, frameworks, and technologies to deploy, run, optimize, and scale cloud software, including microservices, containers, orchestration, runtimes, virtualization, networking, storage, resource management, telemetry, observability, security, and automation.

• Setup and execute cloud workloads, e.g. compute platform, analytical platform, database etc.

• Monitor, test and enhance software architecture to ensure responsiveness and efficiency at scale.

• Technical lead who guides and mentor team's engineers and contingent workers to ensure quality and bug-free deliverables.

• Direct technical interaction with tech partners and customers with a high level of autonomy to define solutions, training, and inference execution to reach customer desired targets of work efficiency and accuracy.

• Anticipate market and industry trends as well as customer needs for scaling on advance data science functionalities, data analytic and insight generation, DataOps solutions etc.

• Research technological trends and advancements, create proof of concepts, or prototype new ideas, recommend strategic product enhancements to ensure product relevancy and support revenue growth.

Qualifications

Experience and Skills:

• 5+ years' in the area of Cloud or full stack development work

• Bachelor's, master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Computer Information Systems, or Mathematics/Statistics or other technical discipline.

• Good scripting and programming skills. Proficient in Python, Rust, Java, bash scripting, and other programming skills would be a plus, including C/C++, Java, Matlab, R, Go.

• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and microservices, for examples, load generator, load balancing, docker/Kubernetes, terraform/Pulumi IaaS, SQL/noSQL database, message queue. Cloud workload deployment will be a plus.

• Experience with CSP services, for example, AWS EC2. Managed service (S3, Lambda, RDS, Aurora, etc).

• Strong ownership attitude and problem-solving skills with results orientation.

• Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences, including higher management, sales and marketing team, internal and external customers.

Inside this Business Group

Corporate Strategy Office is chartered to support the executive office in driving corporate initiatives, including near and long-term strategy, major cross-group decision making and ensuring cross-company alignment.  To deliver to that mission, the team owns shaping, driving and synthesizing insights to directionally orient trends as well as long range strategic planning/visioning , cross company alignment and greenfield innovation.  Communications are essential to drive alignment so there is a focus on communications, community and acumen development.  The team is ccommitted to ensuring that Intel efforts are aligned to, and actively driving success toward the most impactful business strategies.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
