You will drive the creation and execution of the program Plan of Record, including Scope, Requirements Management, Success Criteria, Schedule, Resources, and Quality. You will also provide architectural and technical guidance to ensure sound engineering practices are followed.

We are looking to hire a Cloud Software Engineering Manager who will:

 

• Lead a team of 10+ software engineers through all phases of the software life cycle including requirement, design, implementation, and release.
• Work in a fast-growing organization, balancing time to market, usability, reliability, and technical challenges.
• Evaluate and assess the workforce quarterly, plan career growth, build an innovative and safe workplace, and tie team deliverables to program/project roadmaps and goals.
• Value and promote a culture of collaboration, mentorship, documentation, software design principles, testing, GIT and parallel development, CI/CD, data-driven decisions, observability, and show passion for a leadership role to work closely with others to help them achieve their best.
• Have immaculate communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders to achieve higher goals
• Have a willingness to hire and retain top engineering talent

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum qualifications and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork and/or classes and/or research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors and 9 years of experience, Masters and 6 years of experience or PHD with 4 years of experience
• People management experience of 4+ years
• Experience with building cloud platforms and services
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, secure development life cycle, and project/program management
• Experience with the software development work environment (such as JIRA, Git, Unit test frameworks, DevOps model, CI/CD, etc.)
• Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Strong software development and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with building cloud platforms and services at AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI
• Knowledge of distributed systems
• Experience with open source software, Kubernetes, Storage, Compute, Networking, Security

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$187,370.00-$299,710.00
