What you will be doing:
- Display a congenial appearance and is well groomed at all times.
- Assisting the department manager in development, implementation and maintenance of The Clubhouse Grill/Club M service standards.
- Coordinates all service staff for all meal periods in the Clubhouse Grill, Club M and beverage cart during the shift.
- Supervise the associates and daily operations of the outlet.
- Ensure food quality and adherence to all service standards.
- Lead and direct the work of the team by delegating responsibilities to associates and supervise the tasks through completion.
- Oversee reservations, VIPs, and any special guest needs.
- Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.
- Conduct ongoing training and mentoring of associates in the performance of their duties and Food and Beverage knowledge.
- Effectively communicate with management and chefs in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests.
- Conduct daily inspections to maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ensure dining room is properly maintained at a 5-star environment, including carpet, walls, light bulbs, windows, and overall general cleanliness.
- Be visibly present on the outlet floor during service and solicit feedback from guests.
- Monitor set up and maintenance of department to ensure all side work is complete.
- Perform all other administrative functions required and communicate information to the department manager as needed.
- Work in safe manner at all times and follow all safety procedures as outlined in your Standards of Conduct and Loss Prevention Manual.
- Knowledge of the food and beverage menus offered in the Clubhouse Grill, Club M and beverage cart.
- Must be able to correctly ID guests when ordering alcohol either at tables or at the bar.
- To be able to conduct Safety awareness topics.
- Assist in organization of back of house storage areas, office, liquor rooms and beer coolers.
Your experience and skills include:
- Ability to prioritize work load.
- Organization skills and ability to adapt quickly to any given situation.
- 2 year experience in bar or high volume restaurant in a similar restaurant/bar environment.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Exceptional guest recovery skills.
- Strong Micros knowledge and experience
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- All of the above to be done fluently in English.

- While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to stand and walk.
- The colleague frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- The colleague is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell.
- The colleague must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
