About The Role
In this cluster role you will report to the Cluster Financial Controller and ensure smooth daily operations of the Finance for multiple properties including Novotel Melbourne South Wharf, Ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley and Ibis Budget Melbourne Airport.
Key duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Weekly Payroll in line with Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010.
- Assist the Cluster Financial Controller with Financial Forecasts and Budget Preparations.
- Complete End of Month Reports, P&L, Forecasts and other financial reports
- Management and processing Accounts Payable / Receivable
- Coach and lead the finance team
- Ensure Internal controls and maintain the credit limits.
- Assist with all audits related to financial standards and procedures.

Skill and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Relevant tertiary qualification desirable however not essential
- Strong attention to details
- Ability to effectively time manage large volume work load, to meet deadlines and work well under pressure situations
- Proven ability to train and coach team members
- Excellent Microsoft office skills - Excel, Linked spreadsheets and Macros
- Authentic customer service, interpersonal & communication skills & be flexible in your approach to resolve issues
- Experience using Opera (PMS) and SUN System would be advantageous
