Cluster General Manager (m/w/d)

We are very proud to announce that in September 2023 (exact date to be confirmed) we are opening the doors of the Hotel Combo Pullman, Novotel, ibis Styles Überseequartier Hamburg! With 827 hotel bedrooms in total, this Combo will be located in the heart of the “Hafen City” and Hamburg’s largest development district and only minutes walking distance to Elbphilarmonie and the UNESCO World heritage “Speicherstadt. We are looking for an exceptional Cluster General Manager and entrepreneur, who will be in charge oft he pre-opening phase, the opening and the positioning in the market of this unique combo of 3 hotels and a stand-alone, top notch restaurant.

 

Job

Open to creativity means open-minded about changes and as a driven leader of the Combo, you make sure the Hotels are the preferred hotels and number one choice in their respective different markets

Your focus in this job will first be the pre-opening phase. Making sure the Hotels are branded in the market, you will design the blueprint of the Combo and at the end of this phase you will have a clear view and ambitious plan in terms of:

• Organization of departments
• Casting & recruiting of the teams
• Training of teams
• Workforce planning & productivity management
• Sales & Marketing strategy
• Budgets & Forecast
• Distribution & pricing strategy
• Stakeholder management with all relevant parties

 

Your experience and skills include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality management or similar education
• At least 10 years of experience as General Manager, previous experience as a Cluster GM is beneficial
• Experience in ownership relationship management
• Fluent in German and English language, any other language skills are a benefit
• Knowledge of the local market is beneficial
