Hang Seng Co-op Programme – Financial Control (FIN)

Hang Seng's Financial Control function works closely with the Bank's stakeholders, including business partners, shareholders, regulators and external examiners. We function as their accountants and business partners in providing comprehensive information on financial management, financial planning, financial reporting and compliance, capital planning and reporting, financial control & SOX control, tax advisory, insurance finance, and global markets finance.

Accounting Policy and Regulatory Advisory (FCD)

Asset Liability and Capital Management (ACM)

Business Performance and Management Information

Financial Control COO Office

Financial Reporting (FCM)

Global Markets Finance (TFC)

Insurance Business Finance

Programme Overview

Duration:
June 2019 – June 2020 (6/11 months full-time employment)

Principle Responsibilities

Prepare and collect financial data and perform financial analysis

Assist in daily accounting operations and compilation of regular financial reports

Assist in system development and implementation testing related to financial reporting

Provide general administrative support to the team and perform ad hoc assignments

Qualifications

Requirements:
University students majoring in Accounting / Finance or related disciplines

Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Strong self-motivation and willingness to learn

Proficiency in English and Chinese

Good knowledge of application software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint) & Chinese Word Processing

Permanent residents of Hong Kong or holding a valid Hong Kong work visa
