ABB Power Grids offers power and automation products, systems and service solutions across the generation, transmission and distribution value chain - enabling a stronger, smarter and greener power grid.

You will play a key role in financial controlling within the Power Grids business, in Bangkok, Thailand. Reporting to the Front Office Planning and Controlling, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Controlling and Planning COE by providing specialist knowledge and analytical expertise to its customer within Process Area/Areas as part of the global initiatives.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting the development of global common processes and driving implementation in own geographical area (Country, Region or Global).
• Guiding and influencing the local business in cooperation with Finance Director/Finance Manager and Business Partners to make best use of COE Hub capabilities and services in optimizing end-to-end business processes.
• Performing Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) based on customer requirements and designing, implementation and maintenance of automated tools/reports.
• Responsible for financial Cost Accounting, including product standard costing, maintenance and absorption analysis.
• Performing Functional and Legal Entity Controlling for special projects and Business Partnering within respective business.
• Facilitating the exchange of know-how and best practices between the COE’s including the best practice and optimization covering all ABB PG JV.
• Supporting the definition and roll-out of key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitoring measurement compliance.
• Benchmarking of KPI’s measuring cost efficiency, level of standardization and customer satisfaction along with process design benchmarking.
• Optimizing own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements.

Your background

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• More than 5 years of experience in Controlling and/or FP&A in international context.
• Experience in interacting with process and business stakeholders at various levels, including executive managers and familiarity with general accounting and reporting processes.
• Proficient in IT systems & application: ERP (SAP FI/CO), MS Office, Planning and Reporting tools and integrated solutions.
• Understanding of end-to-end process, systems and data flows across organization at business and finance side.
• Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
