Job Description
Join the growing team at our world-class train manufacturing facility in Sacramento, CA. Siemens Mobility, Rolling Stock Division is the North American market as our Coach Final Assembly Specialist. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert for the Coach Production line who uses comprehensive problem solving skills and attention to detail to improve, strengthen and streamline production outcomes. The Coash Final Assembly specialist’s responsibilities include reacting and communicating to his/her leadership any abnormalities and promoting standardized work and the process of continuous improvement. The Coach Final Assembly Specialist will develop manufacturing expertise, generate training content, and deliver training to the team, particularly for new vehicle models and engineering changes. What you will be doing: • Under minimum supervision, determines the methods and sequence of operations required to assemble Coaches • Performs all tasks and functions associated with the assembly of Coaches • Interfaces with the Quality, Engineering, Industrial Engineering departments. • Interprets blueprints, sketches, and works from verbal instructions for Coaches • Assembles electronic components, subassemblies, top level assemblies What you need to be successful High school education or GED Three years of relevant experience We would be impressed if you have · Experience reading electrical schematics and wire lists Additional Information Upon offer of employment, candidates will be subject to a background check and drug screen.
