Eaton’s Electrical Power Reliability division is currently seeking a Coil Winder to join our team on 2nd or 3rd shift! The hourly rate for this position starts at $19.76/hr + $1.25/hr shift premium, depending on experience. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility and the core hours are 3 pm - 11:30 pm OR 10:30 pm - 7 am. This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000*, less applicable withholding for 2nd shift OR $3,000*, less applicable holding for 3rd shift. *Bonus terms: Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 24th, 2023 to qualify. Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply. Associates must be employed at the time of the payout. Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $1,000, less applicable withholding for 2nd shift OR $1,500, less applicable withholding for 3rd shift, will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1,000, less applicable withholding for 2nd shift OR $1,500 for 3rd shift, will be paid after nine (9) months of employment Why work at Eaton? In this function you will: Perform coil winding operations on a variety of coils and for different applications, size, design, etc., on small to medium coils. Set-up winding machines and related equipment for size and type of wire, number of turns, type and size of insulation, etc. Perform basic soldering operations. Adjust fixtures and tension devises for proper winding tension. Assemble special coils for proto-type jobs. Tag or label finished coils. Provide proper resistance when winding coils. Test finished coils. Read and use drawings, routings, blue prints, specifications, part numbers, and other shop documents affecting this position. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future. No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the South Milwaukee, WI facility. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of one (1) year experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred. Position Success Criteria: Ability to walk/stand for an 8-hour shift with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift 44lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
