Colleague Services Process Improvement Specialist

Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Colleague Services Process Improvement Specialist to join our team. You will work with a range of stakeholders to enable the consistent deployment of highly efficient and effective Colleague Services Admin processes that reduce cost, improve operating efficiency and create customer satisfaction to support Thermo Fisher’s growth strategy and provide a source of competitive advantage.


 

What will you do?

  • Contribute to the design, delivery and testing of ‘HR Admin Blueprints’ to meet customer and broader human resources needs
  • Partner with HR Productivity & Operations colleagues, Colleague Services Regional Leads, Field HR and CEO colleagues to, implement new/improved global processes at a local level and support the integration of M&A’s into existing ‘Colleague Services Admin Blueprint’ processes
  • Assist Colleague Services and HR Productivity & Improvement Leaders to identify, select and prioritize improvement projects that link to business and customer priorities
  • Champions HR Administration process improvement; mentors in improving processes, driving customer satisfaction, increasing productivity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Develops a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders by efficient, high quality execution of improvement/integration activities
  • Documents Blueprint processes and procedures and builds organizational capabilities through knowledge sharing, education and training (or managing the training) of key stakeholders in new/improved Colleague Services processes
  • Identifies and uses project management and process improvement tools, which are best suited to each improvement need and effectively uses those tools to increase the likelihood of process improvement success
  • Investigates, understands and develops industry knowledge of best practice and works with key stakeholders to apply current best practices to Colleague Services related activities

Who we are looking for: experience, skills & abilities

  • Educated to Degree level with either a professional qualification in HR Management or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Customer centric with the ability to deliver excellent customer care
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills; detail-oriented with the ability to see the big picture and to work effectively at both high and detailed levels
  • Strong integrative problem solver; able to create pragmatic, customer focused operational solutions that reduce cost and improve operating efficiency
  • Ability to produce high volumes of quality work on concurrent projects
  • Advanced working knowledge of Workday, Kenexa, Excel & other Word Programs
  • Fluent spoken and written English with the ability to communicate well in a diverse work environment
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours as needed


Desirable Requirement :

  • Fluent spoken & written skills in more than one European language
  • Previous leadership experience gained in a Shared Services Environment
  • Qualification or equivalent relevant work experience in continuous improvement methodology
