Lingnan Institute of Further Education (LIFE) is the self-financing arm of Lingnan University providing various full-time academic and part-time continuing education programmes, including Postgraduate Diploma, overseas top-up degree, Associate Degree, Higher Diploma, Diploma, Diploma Yi Jin and other Lifelong and professional education programmes to meet the diverse learning needs of society. The appointee is required to (a) teach courses on English Linguistics, English Grammar, English Literature, or related courses; (b) provide academic guidance and consultation for students; (c) perform the duties of planning, development and review of teaching materials and curriculum; (d) engage in programme development and management; (e) assist in programme review and accreditation exercises; and (f) perform other programme related duties including programme promotion for admission, coordination of student activities, etc.

General Requirements
Applicants should have a first and a master’s degree or above in English (a doctorate degree will definitely be an added advantage) and relevant teaching experience at tertiary education sector. Candidates with more experience will be considered for the post of College Lecturer.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
Commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund and gratuity. Appointment will be made on fixed-term contract, which will be renewable subject to mutual agreement.
