Job Description

Monthly Salary Range: HK$34,670 – HK$57,590

Duties:  The scope of duties includes programme development and promotion, programme budgeting and management, content design and delivery, as well as networking with existing social enterprises in Hong Kong. He/she will work closely with existing members in the existing subject group that offers a variety of award and non-award bearing programmes and short courses. As one of the key team players, he/she is expected to contribute to the development of the subject group and the College at large. In addition, he/she is required to attend meetings and serve in committees assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:  Candidates should have at least a Master’s degree in areas of arts and humanities, social sciences, communication(s), or any other disciplines, and should possess experiences related to the field of social innovation or social entrepreneurship, e.g. those who have worked for enterprises that aim at making a social impact. Doctorate degree holders with proven track record in teaching and/or research initiatives in design thinking, social innovations and entrepreneurship will be a definite advantage. Candidates must also be a good team player with excellent communication skills and willing to participate in various academic activities in the related disciplines of arts and humanities and design management.

Terms of Appointment:  Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  The contract will normally be for 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to review.  A contract-end gratuity (taxable) will be payable upon satisfactory completion of the contract.  Medical and dental benefits, annual leave and the use of sports and library facilities will be provided where applicable.  The School also provides staff development opportunities.
